Insurance
Moisture
(in any form) is by far the major cause of problems with hearing aids.
The older the aid the more vulnerable it is to
the effects of moisture. Wax can
be seen and removed on a daily basis but moisture often penetrates various
parts of the aid that cannot be seen. It
is particularly troublesome during the months of April through September when
humidity, ear moisture, and perspiration occur at increased levels.
The best insurance against hearing aid failure is daily overnight
storage in some form of drying kit. We
offer a wide variety.
