My name is Bill Prince. I own and operate the Pipestone Hearing Aid Center and have maintained
two
satellite service clinics in
Luverne, and Slayton for over 23 years.
I am certified by the Minnesota Department of Health and Board Certified
(BC-HIS) by the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences
(http://www.hearingnbc.org) and a member of the International Hearing Society
(http://www.hearingihs.org).
I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and hold a diploma from the DeVry Institute of Technology with a major in Communications
Electronics. I worked for several years as an Engineering Technician in
research and development for a company that designed and manufactured solid state field telephone equipment for the military. I also worked for several years at various management levels for a large manufacturing firm.
I do not employ a “staff”. I do everything my self. I have complete control over every facet of my practice and as a result I can offer the highest quality products and services at the lowest prices. I take full responsibility for the better hearing
and well being of every patient I serve.
I have a particular loathing and distaste for "flim-flam" and a host of deceitful, dishonest and insulting sales practices that are used by many dispensers these days. That is why I have provided a unique 24 page report for hearing impaired consumers. You may obtain this report without charge or obligation. Simply
follow the link to ask for the FREE
Report.
If you wish to have immediate answers to your questions about hearing aids, please feel free to call my office at any time. If I am not able to answer the phone, my “receptionist” (answering machine) will take your call. I will return your call as soon as possible.
Thank
You . . .
Sincerely,
Wm. C. Prince, BC-HIS
(Board Certified in Hearing Instrument
Sciences)
What does it mean to be Board
Certified:
Board certification means that your hearing aid practitioner has
been accredited by the National Board for Certification in Hearing
Instrument Sciences. The achievement of this status represents your
dispenser's initiative to excel beyond the normal requirements for
operating a hearing instrument dispensing practice. He/she has
successfully completed a psychometric examination administered by a
panel of experts and, by so doing, has demonstrated an exemplary
level of knowledge, skill and expertise in the field of hearing aid
dispensing.
National Board for
Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences
Founded in 1981, the National Board for Certification in Hearing
Instrument Sciences (NBC-HIS) was created to establish a
standardized test for measuring the competency of hearing health
professionals. It is the only board certification program in the
hearing healthcare industry accredited by the National Commission
for Certifying Agencies. |
